Little Magpies Preschool Staff

Lead Teacher

since 2017

Hi, my name is Miss Nikki!

While I have many roles in the classroom, my favorite one is running the art program at LMP.

I completed my education at Sacramento State with an Early Childhood Development Associate Teacher Permit and a B.A in Sociology.  My education also includes an A.A degree in interdisciplinary studies: Teacher Education Preparation.  I have worked as a para educator for young children and have many years of experience in preschool classrooms.  I enjoy guiding children and assisting them in building a strong foundation for their academics and education.  A fun fact about me is that I was the very first employee hired at Little Magpies Preschool!

Hello, I'm Miss Jennifer!

I'm the writing and numbers teacher at Little Magpies Preschool and love coming up with new and engaging activities for your child every day.

I have completed my early childhood education and am continuing at Sacramento State to obtain my teaching credentials.  I have worked in various settings with children in both preschools and elementary schools.  I think children should be cherished as they are the future of our world! Some of the things I love include reading a good book, quality time with family, meditation and the ocean.

Hi, I'm Miss Lindsay!

I am the science teacher here and love watching your children discover and explore.  I also create the dramatic play and sensory curriculum activities.

I completed my early childhood education classes in Palm Desert, CA and have always known that working with children is my passion.  I love using my imagination with the students to create stories and scenarios for them to learn through.  I'm so excited to help prepare your children for kindergarten!

Hi, I'm Miss Emma!

I am the dramatic play and sensory teacher for your children.  I love watching them explore through hands on learning and using their imagination to develop social-emotional skills.

I was born and raised in Sacramento and am currently in school to obtain my degree in Early Childhood Education.  I have many years of experience in preschool classrooms and have a special love for working with preschool age children.  Some of my favorite things to do outside of work are traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Substitute Teacher

since 2017

Hi, I'm Miss Rochelle!

I have worked at Little Magpies Preschool since the day it opened.  Previously, I was a full time Lead Teacher, but have relocated to the bay area to complete my teaching credential.  Due to my new location and schedule I'm no longer able to be in the classroom daily, but still work in the classroom on a regular basis as a substitute teacher!

I have worked in both preschool and elementary classrooms and am very passionate about working with children and assisting in their development.  Some of my most favorite things to do are exercise, hike, play sports and travel.  I love doing just about anything that keeps me outside!

Substitute Teacher

since 2020

Hi, I'm Miss Hannah!

I am the newest substitute teacher at LMP. I’m so excited to get to know all the amazing kids and help guide them through hands on learning.

I completed my education at Sacramento State with a bachelors in Child Development. Currently, I am furthering my education in Child Development and plan on obtaining my Master’s degree in 2021. I’m passionate about preparing children for the next level of education, as well as guiding them through development by being a positive role model. My favorite hobbies outside of work include hiking, running, and exploring Lake Tahoe!
